User-Interface Coding

First of all, I'm not a great front-end coder. But I don't suck either. This site is a fair example of my DHTML skills. The source code will tell you more than I can here (if you know your HTML), but I'll list a few things going on:

  1. CSS3 is used throughout (rather than images) for ALL rounded corners, drop shadows, background gradients...
  2. CSS bullets are used for the orange numbered circles and the file icons in the work sample pop-up.
  3. @font-face is used to embed the Open Sans font.
  4. Facebook Open Graph meta-tags are informing the Like button.
  5. The Isotope jQuery plugin is implemented to sort/filter the work sample thumbnails.
  6. The jQuery load() function is used to load all the work sample pop-up content AFTER the other page content.
